Line Leader



Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: Full time – 38 hours

(Currently) Alternate shifts;

Week 1 – Mon to Fri – 06:00 – 14:30

Week 2 – Mon to Thu – 11:30 – 21:00

Location: Clayton Park bakery Unit 20, Petre Road, Clayton Le Moors, BB5 5JB

More About the Role

To be responsible for a multi skilled team of bakery assistants to manufacture our range of savoury products, producing quality
bakery items and maintaining the high level of customer satisfaction currently being achieved.



Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

* Running a team of 4 to 5 people. Organising bakery operatives in to correct positions.
* Setting up, running and controlling machinery used for the manufacture of bakery products to set specifications – Responsible
for maintaining paperwork in relation to machine safety.
* Producing various bakery products, mainly our high quality range of pies.
* Manufacture safe, quality food by following all relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Food Safety standards and working
practices.
* Responsible for product quality checks and maintaining paperwork in relation to this.
* General housekeeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas.
* Moving equipment safely
* Adheres to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality
products.
* Handovers with other line leaders/Supervisors/Managers to discuss production on a regular basis.

A Few Things About You

* To be a positive and organised individual.
* Experience of working within a similar role and previous leadership skills is desirable.
* Level 2 in food safety and hygiene would be preferable, but training can be given.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated, as well as being able to motivate others.
* Have a positive outlook and enjoy working as part of and leading a team, leading by example.
* Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others.
* Willing to work a flexible shift pattern which includes Bank Holidays.
