About the role

Are you passionate about shaping high-quality digital education and ensuring learners achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Quality & Curriculum Lead to drive continuous improvement across our digital provision (Data, Digital Marketing, Cyber) up to Level 3.

This role is pivotal in designing industry-leading curricula with employers, developing our talented teaching staff, and upholding rigorous quality assurance standards. You will play a key role in motivating our teaching team and fostering an excellent teaching, learning, and assessment environment. Main purpose of the role

Your core focus will be leading the continuous improvement of our digital programmes (Data, Digital Marketing, Cyber) through innovative curriculum design and robust internal quality assurance. You will work closely with employers to ensure our curriculum meets current industry needs while supporting and developing our teaching team to deliver outstanding learning experiences. You will be accountable for the internal verification process, ensuring it meets learner needs and exceeds awarding organisation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead curriculum design with employers to ensure knowledge, skills, and behaviours align with industry demands.
- Develop and mentor teaching staff to enhance the quality of delivery and learner sessions.
- Design, review, and evaluate teaching materials, coursework, and assessments against quality benchmarks.
- Undertake the internal verification (IQA) of vocational learner assessments, providing timely, constructive feedback to the teaching team.
- Ensure all IQA activities rigorously meet learner needs and exceed the requirements of awarding organisations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and GDPR-compliant records for all IQA activities.
- Lead preparations for External Quality Assurance visits and contribute to maintaining Direct Claim Status.
- Actively plan and participate in regular standardisation meetings to uphold high-quality provision.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reports to Senior Leaders on quality performance, highlighting strengths and areas for development.
- Maintain respectful and effective communication with assessment and management teams.
- Uphold and promote best practices in Safeguarding and Health & Safety.

Skills and qualifications

Essential

- IQA Qualification (Level 4).
- Qualification and/or proven Cyber, Data, or Digital Marketing competency.
- Minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
- Minimum Level 2 in English, Maths, and IT.
- Proven record (2 years minimum) of internally verifying vocational learning programmes.
- Experience supporting adult learning provision.
- Experience playing an active role in Adult Learning Ofsted Inspections.
- Proven track record of active involvement in EQA visits.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a robust compliance record.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
- Solid understanding of Data Protection/GDPR and Safeguarding practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable

- Assessor Qualification.
- Experience managing a team of assessors.
