We are looking for a Personal Support Assistant in the Northallerton area of North Yorkshire, from 10 to 16 hours per week. The role is to support a non-verbal, autistic young man who requires 2:1 support when out in the community and 1:1 at home.
We are looking for someone who is Dynamic, patient, helpful, friendly and fun with a bubbly personality who can be assertive when situations deem it necessary and is able to work on their own initiative.
Must have experience with additional needs, ideally someone who comes from SEN background that has a clear understanding of complex learning needs and behaviour management
The role is encouraging his independence, enhancing communication and social interaction, days out such as going to National Trust and all aspects of personal care.
The hours to be covered are over 3-part time days per week Tuesday to Friday, hours and days to be discussed at interview level.
The rate of pay is £14.70 per hour (£22.05 bank holidays)
There is a Pension option available with this position
Full UK clean driving licence essential
(on-site parking available)
A DBS is required for this position (fully funded)
