Summary
CLASS 1 NIGHT TRUNK DRIVER
LOCATION: Skegness, Lincolnshire
JOB TITLE: Class 1 Night Trunk Driver
JOB TYPE: Full time
HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday - 15:00pm - 00:00am
with occasional weekends (paid at overtime rate)
PAY: £160.63 per day

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
This role involves trunking duties between depots, with manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward
night runs. You'll be operating modern, well-maintained vehicles and adhering to all driver regulations, including tachograph and
working time directives.
Main Duties:
* Perform daily defect vehicle checks each day.
* Loading the vehicle with Garments, Consumables, Mats and Roller Towels using the handheld personal digital assistant (PDA),
also known as a handheld PC, where appropriate.
* Delivering/Collecting to and from our internal depots.
* To complete relevant paperwork necessary for the route.
* Maintaining the drivers Route Book for the route.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles daily.
Qualifications:
* Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
* Valid Driver Class 1C+E Lorry – Essential.
Personal attributes:
* Good level of spoken and written English.
* Self-motivated and committed to the business.
* Good at staying focused and coping with pressure.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to use initiative.
* Physically capable for the manual handling requirements of the role.
