Summary
Complex care assistant (Nights)
£13 per hour
You will be looking after a 8 year old girl who has complex care. She is tracheostomy ventilated and requires 24 hour care. She is very sociable but is unable to communicate her needs. We currently have the following job vacancy.
Hours & Pay Rate
Rate of pay - £13 per hour
Week 1 - Sunday 21:00 to 07:00
Week 2 - Saturday 21:00 to 08:00 and Sunday 21:00 to 07:00
Main Duties
You will be required to be awake all night and to support her with the following:
Tracheostomy care, Ventilator management, Gastrostomy feeding, Administrating medicine, Moving and handling Personal care Daily logs.
Person Specification
Female carer who is friendly and understanding. Experience is preferred. Must provide high standard of care. Be flexible and reliable. Transport is needed due to our location. Happy to work weekends and trustworthy. Full training to be provided. This post is open only to people who identify as female due to the personal care element of the job and is a genuine occupational requirement.
