Join our dynamic team as an ASW (Advanced Social Worker) with 2+ years of post-ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) experience in the vibrant London MOC (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub). Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of children and families to determine their needs and circumstances.
Develop and implement care plans in partnership with families and other agencies.
Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely interventions and compliance with statutory requirements.
Provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
Collaborate with colleagues, external agencies, and community resources to facilitate best outcomes for children.
Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to case discussions and decision-making processes.
Keep detailed and accurate records of all interactions and interventions in accordance with legal standards and organizational policies.
Requirements
A recognized social work qualification and registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
A minimum of 2 years of post-ASYE experience in a child protection or safeguarding environment.
Proven understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines pertaining to child welfare.
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to use evidence to inform decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-agency framework and build collaborative relationships.
Commitment to continuing professional development and staying updated with best practices in social work.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.83
