About the Role
As our Bike Workshop & Shop Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of all workshop and retail operations. You’ll lead a team to deliver high-quality bike servicing, rentals, and repairs, while also managing retail sales and customer service. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who is also comfortable managing people, stock, systems, and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the bike shop and workshop.
Supervise and support a team of bike mechanics and retail staff.
Oversee and maintain systems for bike hires, drop-in repairs, and workshop scheduling.
Carry out advanced repairs and safety checks on bikes to the highest standards.
Manage inventory of parts, accessories, and hire fleet.
Ensure all workshop records are kept accurately, including work logs and part usage.
Deliver outstanding customer service and technical advice to customers.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and retail environment.
Collaborate with wider Nevis Range teams to align with seasonal events and operations.
Train and mentor junior staff and seasonal workers.
