MOT Tester /Light Goods Technician needed in Stoke paying £18 per hr ref 5263138
We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable MOT Tester / Light Goods Technician to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, primarily focusing on the inspection and testing of local taxi vehicles and some private customer vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct MOT tests on all Stoke-on-Trent licensed taxis and a selection of private vehicles.
- Complete 8 MOTs per day, ensuring all inspections meet DVSA standards.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on our own fleet vehicles during quieter periods.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4) is ideal.
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
