Summary
We are seeking to recruit one Locum Pain Consultant to join our Pain Management Centre situated in Charing Cross Hospital.These post-holders will join a supportive and positive department with an excellent reputation for clinical care and teaching. You will join our team who are dedicated to improve sustained pain relief and promote public health. The post is predominantly Pain but there can be an Anaesthetic component.
The post will attract 10 PA per week for a whole-time contract – 8.5 DCC and 1.5 SPA.
8.5 PA per week of clinical related activities including pain management, MDT meetings and the possibility to support Anaesthetics and/or Acute Pain Management.
1.5 PA per week of Supporting Professional Activities - including audit, clinical governance, teaching, research, educational supervision of junior staff and CPD.

The anaesthetic sessions can be converted to full time Pain Clinic sessions or a suitable job plan can be discussed with the Lead Clinician and Clinical Director to suit your needs and that of the department.
