As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) at Testvale Surgery, working as part of our Clinical team you will provide an efficient 'on the day' service to our patients with a caring and respectful disposition. Working independently face to face or via telephone consultations, you will be accountable for delivering safe, clinical decision-making and expert care to a high standard. Acting within your professional boundaries, your duties will include all (or part) of the patient journey including initial history taking; clinical assessment; diagnosis; treatment; prescribing and evaluation of their care. You will also contribute to the leadership and mentorship of the treatment room team. Salary will be dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview. Ideally, we are looking for PT 24-28 hours per week. Flexibility to cover for holidays and sickness is essential. Advanced Nurse Practitioners Responsibilities: Formulate a management plan for the patient, using other sources of healthcare professionals (such as GP or pharmacists), if required, to support diagnosis or next course of action. Prescribe medication as required within your clinical competence. Your responsibilities will also include but not be limited to Chronic Disease clinics, Cervical Cytology and Dressing Clinics. To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical decision making within your clinical competence. Are working at a masters level aware or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competencies.
