Role Purpose Primary Eyecare Services (PES) is a leading NHS provider organization delivering innovative, high quality community eyecare services across England. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to support the successful delivery of our digital programme. This programme will shape how services are delivered through 2026 and 2027 and is central to our wider transformation agenda. The role involves working with internal colleagues, suppliers, NHS partners, and our IT partners to ensure delivery is well coordinated, risk is managed, and milestones are achieved. It is ideal for someone who is organised, delivery-focused, and confident operating in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Collaboration: Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams, including both internal and external stakeholders. These will include IT, healthcare providers, clinical staff, and management to define project goals, requirements, and priorities. Also to support and develop the overall stakeholder engagement strategy. Scope and Risk Management: Develop detailed project plans, define scope, track project progress, and proactively identify potential risks. Implement mitigation strategies and manage changes as needed. Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of digital tools and systems into existing healthcare workflows. Ensure solutions align with healthcare standards, compliance regulations, and best practices. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within healthcare operations through digital solutions. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all digital initiatives meet the required standards of quality, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders, including leadership teams and healthcare practitioners. Partner Management: Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and technology providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and solutions align with project objectives. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends in digital healthcare, such as telemedicine, electronic patient records, and health data analytics.Personal Attributes: Detail-Oriented: Ability to ensure accuracy in project execution and documentation, even in high-pressure environments. Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward achieving project objectives. Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving healthcare trends and new digital technologies.
