Job title: Self-Employed Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Pershore, Worcestershire WR10

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
Our client is a 65-year-old female living in the Pershore area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Self-Employed Personal Assistant to provide support for 9 hours per week with daily living tasks around the home.
Our client has Multiple Sclerosis and has severely restricted mobility but still wants to remain independent.

Main duties:
Personal care: support with basic care activities and exercise.

Domestic duties: support with housekeeping, preparing food & drink and help organising daily routine.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Type of person that you/they are looking for:
 Values: Someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity.

 Specific requirements: Someone with previous care & support experience.
Hours of work: 9 hours per week – 3 hours Monday Wednesday & Friday.

Rate of pay: £18 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
 Previous care & support experience
 confidentiality
 good at building relationships

Preferred:
 computer literate
 good communicator
 a good listener
 ability to support people with complex care & support needs.

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
