We specialize in UK domestic tours and Ctrip’s pan-European hop-on hop-off coach network, linking 27 countries including the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands etc. Together with Ctrip, we are shaping the future of flexible, cross-border travel for independent travelers in Europe.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to help expand our footprint across the UK. You will identify and develop strategic B2B and B2C partnerships with Chinese businesses, communities, and institutions, while contributing directly to sales growth and local market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and establish partnerships with Chinese businesses, community groups, associations, and academic institutions across the UK.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to promote Igo Travel’s UK tours and Europe-wide coach travel products.
Attend and organize promotional events, presentations, and networking sessions (Chinatowns, universities, Chinese expos, etc.).
Work closely with the Marketing and Sales team to create tailored proposals and sales packages.
Contribute to market research and competitor analysis to refine strategy.
Track lead conversions and report on partnership performance metrics.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Previous experience in sales, business development, travel, or tourism is preferred.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel within the UK and attend in-person events or meetings.
Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin).
Legal right to work in the UK or eligible for UK work visa sponsorship.
