Maintenance/Facility Assistant
Edinburgh EH16 4SA £15.50/Hr 8:00AM to 4:00PM (Monday - Friday) Relevant experience preferred, training provided RandstadRandstad is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance/Facility Assistant for a 2-month contract starting June 2nd, 2025. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a well-established team and gain valuable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a good general construction background and a commitment to safety.

Who are you?
- Must have Basic DBS check
- Should provide 2 professional references
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Experience in building service systems is a plus
- General construction background preferred
- Commitment to health and safety
What are you going to do?
- Undertake general maintenance tasks
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance
- Work on fire dampers and related systems
- Assist other skilled tradespeople
- Carry out minor building repairs
- Respond to weather-related issues (snow clearing, etc.)
- Maintain service records
- Liaise with clients and colleagues
- Comply with health and safety policies
- Complete mandatory training
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Handle other duties as assigned
