Crynodeb
Duty Managers at Aqua Parcs assist with the running of the park and water sports to ensure all guests are happy and receive excellent service at Aqua Parcs. Overseeing staff members, helping with training and leading by example are some of the responsibilities you will face. Duty Managers should know the running of Aqua Parcs to a high standard and be able to respond quickly and efficiently in emergencies and difficult situations as well as helping to provide a positive environment for all staff and guests.
Responsibilities
• Ensuring the safety of guests and staff on the aqua park
• Leading and helping with the morning cleaning of the aqua park
• Interacting with the guests to answer any questions and ensure their experience is exceptional
• Helping lifeguards with their responsibilities
• Cleaning and tidying of guest and staff areas to a high standard
• Liaising with the management team about all relevant information.
• First Aid
• Set up and pack down of the park at the start and end of the season
• General maintenance of the park above and below water
• Assisting managers with timetabling and staff organisation
• Covering reception and photography when required
Requirements
Essential:
- 20+ years of age
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Can commit to working full time hours over the whole season including majority of weekends
- Experience working in a customer facing role
- Minimum of 1 year lifeguarding experience
- Active interest in water sports
Preferred:
- Have a valid OWL certificate
- Qualified to teach paddle sports
- Have experience working on an Aqua Park
- Has a valid RYA Powerboat level 2 licence
- Has a valid NPQL certificate
- 3 years lifeguarding experience
- Valid UK driving licence
- Experience making decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment
