Adult Social Worker - Safeguarding Hub

Description
Join our dedicated team as an Adult Social Worker in the Safeguarding Hub, where your expertise will make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable adults within our community. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of individuals experiencing challenges related to abuse, neglect, and mental health. You will assess the needs of clients in partnership with various stakeholders, devise personalized care plans, and ensure the appropriate support services are in place. Collaborating closely with health professionals, law enforcement, and community organizations, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding measures, advocating for the rights and voices of those you serve. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines surrounding adult safeguarding. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding services.
Develop and implement personalized care and support plans based on individual needs.
Collaborate with law enforcement and health services to ensure coordinated responses to safeguarding concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with policies.
Provide expert advice and support to professionals working with at-risk adults.
Engage and build trusting relationships with clients, their families, and support networks.
Participate in multi-agency safeguarding meetings and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
Requirements
A recognized qualification in social work and full registration with a professional regulatory body.
Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in safeguarding contexts.
In-depth knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to assess situations accurately and make sound decisions under pressure.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
