Information for the role of International Programme AdministratorSalary: £26,712 per annum36.25 hours per week Downing College is seeking an administrator with excellent communication and organisational skills to assist the Programme Director and Programme Manager in the efficient running of the Downing International Programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation in a varied and fulfilling role in a small, friendly team. Your day-to day-duties will include:Providing administration support to the academic team before, during, and after the Programmes.Ensuring payments are made and Downing International is kept up to date with weekly sales reports.Keeping the application portal up to date.Conducting the examination interviews and ensuring all travel documents are correct and valid.Managing correspondence with College lecturers on Programme teaching material.To be considered for this interesting role, you will need to have:Demonstratable experience of selling and delivering conferences and events in a comparable venue.A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to work to deadlines under time pressure, to work with minimal supervision, and to be proactive.Educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent. <u>Details of the role</u>The post of Programme Administrator is a permanent, full-time role. Applications are invited from suitably experienced candidates.Hours of work are to be worked Monday to Friday with a daily unpaid 30-minute lunch break. However, flexibility will be required to work evenings and weekends, in particular when the Programmes are in progress during out of term periods. The annual salary is £26,712 per annum for 36.25 hours per week (Step 32 on the College Salary Scale).In addition to the salary, we offer an attractive benefits package.
