Crynodeb
We are seeking enthusiastic LAS doctor ST4-6 (From August 2025) to join our in-patient mental health teams at the Highgate East and West Mental Health Centres.
These posts offer an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, within a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team.
• Working on acute treatment wards (male and female) or rehabilitation and older adults' wards.
• Participating in daily morning MDT meetings, patient reviews, and case formulation discussions.
• Gaining comprehensive experience in psychiatric assessment, patient management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Developing your skills through excellent clinical supervision and training opportunities.
North London NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1st April 2008. Previously (since 1st April 2002) it had been one of the first Mental Health and Social Care Trusts in the country.
The Trust is responsible for the provision of in-patient and community mental health services within the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington.
This includes general adult mental health services (including rehabilitation, EIS, AOT services), services for ageing and mental health, people with learning disabilities and substance misuse services.
