This role is a brand-new focused role for our flagship project in Mablethorpe – the Campus for Future Living. Working in
partnership with East Lindsey District Council this project focuses on tackling health inequalities in coastal communities –
bringing to life cross-sector collaboration, new ideas and community-led service design that really makes a difference.

You’ll be our expert on all things health and coastal, understanding the challenges coastal communities face, the policy
landscape, and have the energy and ideas to turn these into opportunities and successful reality. It is about driving long-term
positive change in our communities with partnerships at its heart. You live in the future and get excited by turning challenges
and ‘no’ to opportunities and ‘yes’. Developing new models and services with partners as you are in securing ways to fund this.
You love meeting new people, achieving the impossible, and can see how working together makes change happen.

This is a 30 hours per week role

As a Business Development Manager (Campus for Future Living), a typical day might include:

* Being externally focused, identifying and meeting with health, care and research organisations, understanding their needs and
priorities, and driving new ways in which we can work together.
* Developing fully funded new models and services that meets identified needs and priorities
* Positioning Acis and the Campus for Future Living externally, through partnership activity, attending events, promotion and
research activity.
* Generating new income to enable the Campus for Future Living to be a long-term success, you'll do this in many ways including
how we work with any partner, including health, care and research organisations, take part in research ourselves and broaden
our own service delivery.
* Making every contact count. It’s not just about networking for networking sake, your focus is to grow our service offer,
broaden our strategic partnerships and drive new income into our group - whilst also ensuring impact for our coastal
communities.
* Working with the Campus Team, you’ll help to ensure we not only meet income targets but that we offer a diverse range of
support and engagement activities for the those living in Mablethorpe and the local area.
* Supporting the Campus steering group through administration of their meetings (preparing, collating, and circulating papers),
preparing and presenting reports on developmental progress and supporting general Steering group activity as required in order
to assist in the achievement of key performance measures and outcomes.




Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you:

* A proven track record of turning stakeholder relationships into productive and impactful partnerships, working collaboratively
to deliver a bigger impact in a funded and sustainable way
* You'll be just as happy with the NHS lingo as you are with housing jargon and local authority speak.
* You’ll have a great understanding of NHS and wider health services and delivery structure, both locally and nationally - and be
able to talk the NHS lingo, understand their many acronyms and align to their coastal priorities
* Experience of working in or closely with the health sector, along with a strong understanding of the local approach and
delivery structure
* A great understanding of the local health and wellbeing challenges affecting Lincolnshire, in particular our coastal
communities
* You’ll be a solution focused thinker, who isn’t afraid to try something new
* Experience of generating diversified income through new markets and developing and establishing new models
* An ability to scope new services and models from scratch, including cost modelling, financial profiling and cashflow
forecasting
* Your target driven with a proven track record of delivering against monthly targets and objectives to meet an organisations
strategic vision



What will make you stand out from the crowd:

* You come with great relationships with those in the health sector, research organisations or partners already working in the
East Coast
* Experience of working with research partners including universities or health partners
* An understanding of policy and their likely changes relating to health, education, or housing
* A clear understanding of research and a data led approach
* Challenging the status quo is your normal day – bringing solutions to engage people in wanting to change and making it happen
* Marketing or external reputation experience an advantage
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Up to date knowledge of our key sectors – education and skills (spanning FE and HE), health (focused on wellbeing) and housing
(social and wider)
* Up to date knowledge of our communities – and more specifically their needs
