What we’re looking for:
We welcome candidates with substantial industry experience in automotive paint refinishing. A teaching qualification is not essential — we will support the right candidate to achieve this as part of your development with us.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
Expertise in automotive paint spraying and refinishing, including SMART repair and HVLP application
Solid knowledge of panel repair, filler work, dent removal, and surface preparation
Competency in colour matching, blending techniques, and paint mixing
Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems
Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental best practices
The ability to plan and deliver practical demonstrations in a workshop setting
Effective communication and coaching skills to support learners of varying abilities
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to student success
Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and training
