At Carr Gomm, we’re seeking Relief Support Practitioners to join our Home Respite team in Tain. In this role, you'll provide short-term in-home support to individuals, giving unpaid carers essential time to rest and recharge — all while working hours that suit your lifestyle.
About the Role
• Deliver 1–5 hour respite visits to people in their homes
• Support individuals with day-to-day needs and companionship
• Help maintain comfort, independence, and routine
• Work flexibly — shifts are matched to your availability
• Be part of a caring, professional team that values person-centred support
Who We're Looking For
• Compassionate, reliable people who want to make a difference
• No previous care experience required — full training provided
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, due to rural travel
We welcome applications from any candidates already eligible to work in the UK or those that can apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK (e.g. dependent visas, ancestry etc.) that do not require sponsorship from Carr Gomm. You will be asked to share proof of this prior to receiving any offer of employment. It is currently our policy not to offer sponsorship for prospective candidates.
