An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Planner and Scheduler to join one of the fasted growing housebuild contractors in the North West. They are offering you the chance to build a department that’s on the precipice of some amazing projects, to grow a team around you (their focus is on expanding the Planning team over the next 18 months) whilst also being flexible and open to your input as a Planning and Scheduling expert.
So far so good, but what other aspects will see you fitting into this family firm?
You're going to fit in here if you're used to working with a small, close knit team and have an all-around skillset that works with all departments (site, commercial, finance, design, CM's).
You're going to fit in here if you can add benefit and ideas to improve the programming and scheduling to around 15 sites - the business is very open minded to listening to what you can bring – including new systems if need be.
You're going to fit in here if you're hard working but relaxed with it - there's no ego's here and the culture is one of placing responsibility, not blame, on the personnel within the business.
You're going to fit in here if you have experience of building up a growing department and the journey that entails, it won’t always be easy, but the route with growth will be very satisfying from my experience with people I’ve placed in the company.
