Behaviour Mentor - Alternative Provision
Location: High Peak, Derbyshire
Salary: £24,763 - £27,002 per annum (FTE, pro-rata for term-time)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term to Permanent

Driving Licence: Essential - access to a vehicle insured for business use is required
We proudly support alternative and specialist provisions across the East Midlands and beyond. We are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded alternative provision in High Peak to appoint a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education and who need tailored support to re-engage with learning.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in helping pupils manage behaviour, build confidence, and rediscover a love for learning.

This provision is part of a respected multi-site trust that specialises in inclusive and therapeutic education. The High Peak site supports students from Reception through to Year 11, many of whom have experienced significant barriers to education, including trauma or disrupted schooling.
With small class sizes, strong staff-to-pupil ratios, and a dedicated, compassionate team, the school provides a nurturing and consistent space where young people are given the chance to thrive-academically, socially, and emotionally.
