Are you a passionate and resilient teacher who thrives on making a real difference in children’s lives?We are seeking a committed and compassionate Class Teacher to join our dedicated team in the SEMH unit at Maltby Manor Academy, a nurturing and inclusive primary school that puts children’s well-being at the heart of everything we do.About the Role:The SEMH unit provides targeted support for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, offering a bespoke curriculum and a supportive, therapeutic environment. The successful candidate will work with a small group of pupils, delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching that promotes academic progress alongside emotional development.We are looking for someone who:· Has QTS and a strong understanding of primary teaching pedagogy· Has experience working with children with SEMH needs, or a genuine passion to develop in this area· Is nurturing, patient, and skilled in behaviour management· Can plan and deliver a creative, engaging, and adapted curriculum· Works collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants, and external professionals· Is committed to inclusive education and understands the importance of emotional well-being in learningWe offer:· A supportive and forward-thinking leadership team· A dedicated SEMH provision with a strong, experienced staff team· Ongoing professional development and training in trauma-informed and restorative approaches· A caring, child-centred ethos and a strong sense of communityIf you are ready to make a lasting impact and help every child reach their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
