Key Responsibilities of the Senior IT Support Technician:

As a field-based Senior IT Support Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for multiple clients, tackling everything from day-to-day support to infrastructure installations. You’ll work across a range of technologies, helping maintain and grow reliable, modern IT environments.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Proficiency in virtualisation technologies (VMWare or Hyper-V)
• Solid troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Good understanding of backup practices and device imaging
• Ideally 2–3 years in a technical IT role – preferably with experience in educational environments

Bonus Skills (Desirable, Not Essential):

• Experience with wireless networks (Unifi, Aruba, Meraki)
• Familiarity with MDM tools (Jamf, Meraki, Lightspeed)
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure, or Intune
• Hands-on with AV installations and 3CX phone systems
