Evie -started as an apprentice and is now a L3 Room lead.
I wouldn’t have wanted to achieve what I have achieved so far anywhere else other than at Blossom Grove. I started my apprenticeship journey here and haven’t looked back since. The support I have received from staff, management and Nicola was above and beyond. From guiding me through hard times throughout this journey and recognising all of the hard work I have put in. The support has continued since passing my Level 3 and with all the right training and guidance I have now progressed to room leader. Working here doesn’t feel like going to work, it’s like being with your family, a home from home.
Lisa – Curriculum lead
I feel so lucky to have found Holly Grove and to say its my place of work. I joined Holly Grove at the beginning of 2020 during the pandemic. Because of the continuous support and care for my well-being it promptly became my family. As a member of our team and family you will be empowered to shine. Both management and team members recognise, support and build on your talents and strengths. They give you regular opportunities to develop your skills and share your learning with others. I particularly like that at the end of each day you are thanked for the work you have done. They recognise achievements and progression and these are rewarded and celebrated with social events and award nights.
Mei – Babies lead
Working at Blossom Grove is such a lovely working environment. All staff work together and make sure one another are ok. We always work in a team and help each other. I find working here such a rewarding experience, to be able to watch children grow and develop from babies to starting school. We have positive parent relationships, where we talk to parents and support them. Everyday is different, the children put a smile on our faces and we are here solely to ensure they are safe, happy and nurtured.
Jayne – Kitchen manager
Working here is brilliant because everyone we work with are always there for each other. It feels like we are 1 big happy family. We get together outside of work to have meals together and do other fun activities together. Our team celebrates together and supports each other with a listening ear. Working in a setting can be busy and stressful, but the support and relaxed nature of our team definitely helps so much, knowing that help is always there when you need it.
