We are recruiting a Deputy Manager – Specialist Services for a well-established service in Bungay. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs.

You’ll play a vital role in shaping service delivery, supporting operational excellence, and leading from the front to ensure the very best outcomes for service users.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the day-to-day operational management of specialist care services

Leading, mentoring, and supervising care teams to ensure safe and effective care

Driving service development and helping implement care plans tailored to individual needs

Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and relevant health and social care regulations

Collaborating with external professionals, families, and stakeholders to enhance care delivery

Contributing to strategic planning, audits, and service evaluations

Managing budgets and resources effectively to maintain service efficiency

Leading on key improvement projects and quality initiatives

Supporting the Registered Manager with strategic leadership and decision-making

Who We’re Looking For:
A confident leader with managerial experience in specialist health or social care services

A strong understanding of care regulations, safeguarding, and compliance

Excellent team management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Skilled in budget and resource planning, with a proactive and adaptable approach

Committed to continuous improvement, professional development, and service quality

Relevant qualifications in healthcare, social care, or a related field

Bonus points for:

Experience in project or change management

Familiarity with local support networks and community resources

Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
