Your new role
My client are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a university campus in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile project, ensuring smooth operations, quality workmanship, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high standards.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce on-site.
Monitor progress, resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Site Manager in refurbishment projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of construction regulations and health & safety standards.
Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification preferred.
