Your new role
I am seeking an experienced and proactive Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new build social housing development in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation committed to building high-quality, affordable homes that make a real difference in local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Monitor progress against programme and report regularly to the Project Manager.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Liaise with stakeholders including local authorities, residents, and internal teams.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience managing new build residential or social housing projects.
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White card), and First Aid at Work certification.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient site.
Knowledge of NHBC standards and building regulations.
