- Conducting advocacy in court hearings, including contested hearings.
- Drafting clear and concise legal documentation, including applications, statements,
and orders.
- Providing sensitive, practical, and clear legal advice to clients.
- Liaising effectively with clients, Solicitors and other agencies.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and case law.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Be a qualified Solicitor.
- Have demonstrable experience in independently running a caseload of private
family matters (essential).
- Good advocacy skills and experience representing clients in court preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise
with vulnerable clients.
- A proactive, organised, and resilient approach to work.
- A genuine passion for family law and a commitment to achieving the best
outcomes for children.
- Accreditation to the Law Society Family Panel is desirable but not essential.
What They Offer:
- A competitive salary commensurate with your experience and expertise.
- A supportive, collaborative, and friendly working environment.
- Opportunities for continuous professional development and career progression.
- The chance to work within a highly respected firm with a strong commitment to
client welfare.
- A challenging yet rewarding role where you can truly make a difference.
- An office-based role in Rochdale, fostering strong team cohesion and client
relationships.
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
If you are a compassionate and skilled Family Solicitor with a proven track record of managing your own caseload, we encourage you to apply regardless of your PQE level.
