Amari Plastics South Wales, based in CF14 5DU, is a well-established distributor of semi-finished plastic materials. Alongside our core distribution business, we provide CNC machining, laser cutting, and edge polishing services to a wide range of industries. With a dedicated team of over 15 professionals, we pride ourselves on customer service, quality, and reliability.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Internal Sales Team Member to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding our customer base, handling sales enquiries, processing orders, and supporting our external sales and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales orders
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
Work closely with external sales and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Maintain CRM records and customer account details accurately
Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling
Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a sales, customer service or account management role (ideally within a technical, manufacturing or distribution environment)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks under pressure
Commercially aware with a customer-first attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus
Knowledge of plastics or manufacturing processes such as CNC machining or laser cutting is desirable but not essential
