Summary
1. *Supervise retail floor operations*, ensuring consistent customer service delivery and compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
2. *Manage order preparation* for wholesale clients, verifying item accuracy, stock availability, and packing quality for scheduled deliveries.
3. *Coordinate logistics and dispatch schedules*, liaising with drivers and restaurant clients to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
4. *Train and oversee junior retail staff*, providing guidance on till operations, meat counter procedures, and customer interaction protocols.
5. *Assist in inventory control*, tracking stock turnover, reporting shortages, and helping to manage ordering cycles with the Shopkeeper.
6. *Resolve client inquiries and escalations*, including managing expectations of regular restaurant clients on product quality and availability.
7. *Support implementation of marketing promotions*, including price adjustments and display changes across key product lines.
8. *Monitor sales and productivity KPIs*, offering input on product performance and identifying areas for operational improvement.
9. *Ensure POS and order systems* are correctly used, reconciling cash and card transactions and generating sales records.
10. *Conduct compliance checks*, such as temperature control logs and shelf-life monitoring, as part of internal food safety procedures.
