Are you looking to kick-start your career in commercial management with one of the UK’s leading homebuilders? At Lovell we create exceptional homes and communities, and we’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team.

Job Purpose

As a Commercial Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Commercial Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day operations. From managing utilities and invoice queries to providing vital administrative support, you’ll work closely with both our Accounts and Commercial teams to keep everything running seamlessly. You’ll also build strong relationships with suppliers, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Utilities & Rates: Take charge of utility bills and rates, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Invoice Resolution: Proactively resolve invoice queries, adhering to the Prompt Payment Code to keep processes on track.

Administrative Support: Step in to support the team during absences and assist with manual funds requests and VAT reclaims.

Compliance & Documentation: Oversee consultant appointments and collateral warranties.

Build Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with both internal teams (Accounts, Commercial) and external suppliers, ensuring collaboration and efficiency.

Payment Processing: Ensure all payment requests are processed smoothly, in line with company guidelines.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in using COINS and working within the construction industry.
