We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Education Welfare Officer (LBS-010) to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with schools, local authorities, families, and community organizations to implement effective strategies aimed at improving attendance and ensuring that students remain engaged in their education. With a focus on providing timely interventions and support, you will analyze data related to student attendance and educational outcomes to identify at-risk students and develop appropriate action plans. Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to improve student attendance and engagement.
Collaborate with schools, parents, and community organizations to address educational welfare issues.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students at risk of disengagement.
Provide advice and support to staff and families on matters relating to education welfare.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of welfare initiatives and interventions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student welfare cases and interventions.
Participate in multi-agency meetings to discuss and develop comprehensive support plans for students.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in education welfare or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to child welfare and education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including families and educational professionals.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop action plans accordingly.
Proficient in using various software and tools for record-keeping and reporting.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £22.99
