The In-Service Support Programme (ISSP) Capability Manager role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of In Service Support delivery performance, asset management, User Engagement and Continuous Improvement. It will engage with users across the Maritime Environment to collect lived experience and directly impact the strategic direction and implementation of Support provision and support transformational improvement activity in all areas of the In Service Support Programme.
Day to Day the Capability Manager will oversee the relationship with Delivery Agents in the scope of assets, capability management, and user experience. The Capability Manager will champion the Navy Command Requirements, working with both suppliers and Delivery Agents to ensure value for money, benefit realisation and alignment to the Defence Lines of Development. The Capability Manager will oversee and implement change initiatives to drive continuous improvement within In Service programmes, reacting to changes in operational requirements and ensuring successful realisation of strategic benefits across the maritime fleet. Candidates should have robust stakeholder management skills and be adept at building networks with pace and confidence
