About The Company
This is a fixated term position, providing maternity cover to the school.
The underlying principles are quality engagement with children, child centred decision approach to living and learning and supporting individuals to reach their potential.

Our nurture provision is founded on principles, which seek to understand the needs of the child, and is run by qualified practitioners. We provide a safe environment which meets the child's social, emotional and mental health needs. We work closely with the child, their previous setting and family to ensure we support and develop each child, so they are successful with us and in their next school setting.

About The Role
Hours:37.5
Salary: Pro Rata: £23,231.03 FTE £27,085

Reporting to: Nurture Lead
Plan and deliver creative and stimulating sessions for small groups of children with a range of learning difficulties.
Communicate enthusiasm in ways that engage the children, fosters their motivation and willingness to learn and contribute to effective learning outcomes being achieved.
Contribute to the overall aims, objectives and outcomes of Nurture provision and the individual EHCP
Maintain respect, professionalism and confidentiality.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Deliver a nurturing approach to promote and reinforce child development and self esteem
Be sensitive to the welfare and care of the children emotionally
Develop regulation strategies based around child need
Use a range of strategies and resources to provide a purposeful learning environment that promotes positive attitudes, values and behaviour.
Contribute to creating displays for children’s work and reflections
Liaise with Lead and Headteacher to develop the provision
Maintain regular contact with schools' parents and carers
Chair Nurture meetings in the absence of Nurture Lead
Extensive training is provided to all staff, Salutem are committed to professional development and will devise a bespoke CPD offer to enable individuals to reach their full potential.
