Crynodeb
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Pre-School Assistant with a sound knowledge of early years education.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Little Acorns Pre-School at Thringstone Primary School. The successful candidate will join the team in August 2025. We are looking for an assistant who is dedicated and passionate about our pre-school provision and the early years education we provide.
You will be expected to:
have at least Level 3 in Childcare qualification
have an in-depth knowledge of Early Years education
understand play based approaches to children’s learning and development
be committed to the provision of high quality childcare
be enthusiastic, creative and proactive
Key Responsibilities
You will be required to assist with the planning of the curriculum using the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and to act as a key person for a small group of children.
We have a part-time temporary position available for 17.75 hours per week (term time). This position could be extended beyond the advertised end date subject to pupil numbers.The hours of work will be as follows: (there could be potential to increase if required)Monday - Wednesday 12.30pm - 3.45pmThursday - Friday 11.45am - 3.45pm
