The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.

Thepostholderwillberesponsiblefordesigninganddeliveringspecialist counter fraudtrainingtoNHSCFApeopleandexternalstakeholderswhosupportthefight against Fraud and other economic crime within the NHS.Working as part of a part of a team ensuring NHSCFA people receive initial training andcontinuedprofessionaldevelopmentinlinewith requirementsoftheGovernment Counter FraudProfession requirements. Therole includes developmentanddelivery of face to face and virtual training.

Design and deliver a range of counter fraud learning activities to NHSCFA people and the wider counter fraud community in line with current legislation, policies and government professionrequirements.Includingpreparing lesson plans,draftingsessioncontentandarangeofpracticalassessments.

Subject matter includes all elements of investigative training and management of serious and complex investigations.

Conduct extensive research of legislation and other related matters ensuring trainingmaterialsarekeptuptodateandareappropriateforthecurrentfraudlandscape.



Provideadvicetoallareasoftheorganisationwhereresearch conducted reflects a requirement to update polices or procedures.

We have offices based in Coventry, Newcastle and London and offer flexible, hybrid, office and home-based working. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. LiaisewithNHSCFAInvestigationManagertoidentifytrainingneedsfollowing case file and prosecution files.



Actasasubjectmatterexpertinordertogivea specialistadvicetointernal and external fraud investigators and agencies.



Work in partnership with organisational stakeholders to ensure the developmentoftheworkforceandtheencouragementofgoodpractice.
