Key Stage Two Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a graduate keen to build classroom experience and support pupils in upper primary?
*** Academic Year – September 2025 to July 2026
*** £81–£101 per day
*** Primary school based in the Ward of Hall Green
*** 1:1 and small group academic support across the KS2 national curriculum
*** Great opportunity for future primary teachers
You’ll work across Key Stage Two, supporting pupils with varied academic needs—helping them stay on track in core subjects like reading, writing, and maths. You’ll provide both in-class support and targeted interventions outside of lessons. You’ll also assist with planning resources, preparing activities, and helping to manage behaviour. This role offers real variety, and a clear view of what teaching involves.
You’ve got a 2:1 or above, strong A-Levels, and some experience working with children—whether through tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, or school-based roles. You’re confident, clear in your communication, and ready to support pupils who need encouragement and structure. You’re serious about teacher training and want to get stuck in before applying.
This is a well-organised, inclusive primary school in Hall Green with a strong focus on academic progress and pupil wellbeing. Staff work closely as a team, and graduates are given real responsibility alongside expert support. If you’re looking for a role that will prepare you for a career in teaching, this is the right place to start.
Due to the number of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
