What skills and experience we're looking for
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our teaching team and make a significant contribution to our Culture Faculty by sharing your passion of History with our students.
About the role
You’ll be committed to delivering high-quality lessons across all abilities in line with relevant curriculum requirements, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained. Your role will include collaborating with those in the wider Humanities faculty to sustain and raise class achievement to an outstanding level. The ability to teach KS3 Geography would be an advantage. Applications will be considered from those interested in full-time or part-time hours.
Key requirements
Qualified Teacher Status
Relevant specialist qualifications and subject experience (e.g BA Hons degree in History)
Full understanding of curriculum requirements for History
Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
Understanding of how to implement assessment methods for differentiated learning strategies
