I am working with a fantastic company in Belfast who has a fantastic opportunity for an . You will play a vital part in protecting animal and public health by overseeing the import of live animals and products of animal origin into Northern Ireland.
:
- Work as a Veterinary Inspector within a well-supported and structured team
- Oversee import control procedures for live animals and animal-derived products
- Comprehensive training provided – fully paid with a structured onboarding programme
- 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern of days and nights
- 1.5 hours of paid breaks included per shift
- Enjoy extended rest periods, including up to a week off between shift blocks
& :
- Choose from a 37-hour or 40-hour contract
- Shifts rotate regularly between days and nights
- Full shift rota available upon request

- MRCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Experience in an export role
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in public health, government veterinary work, or border control
- Full UK driving licence (clean) required

- Salary up to £49,000 (DOE)
- Relocation support available
- Fully paid initial training
- 30 days annual leave
- Paid mileage, overtime, and CPD
- Visa sponsorship
