Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 (Pro Rata for Part Time), depending on experience

The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in our busy finance team, supporting the day-to-day running of accounts across multiple areas. This is a varied role, ideal for someone who is confident, proactive, highly organised, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative and fast-moving team.

What You’ll Do:
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support purchase and sales ledger processing
• Process incoming and outgoing invoices accurately and efficiently
• Help chase outstanding invoices and manage credit control tasks
• Maintain and organise financial records for auditing and reporting
• Provide general bookkeeping support across the department
• Support with reconciliations and data entry into finance systems
• Assist the finance team with other ad hoc tasks as required
Why You?
• Experience in a similar finance/account’s role is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer use
• Confident working with numbers and high attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Organised, reliable, and able to work to deadlines
• Familiarity with Sage (preferred but not essential)
