Salary: £45,859 - £50,000 dependent on experience
Location: Ealing office base with hybrid working
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract, 35 hours per week

Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our governance and compliance division. As a Business Analyst, you will provide Business Analysis support and expertise to the various programme of works within Project Services’ overall change portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Analyse As-is processes and using stakeholder analysis, identify related cross functional business areas, process owners and SME's required to define to-be processes for the relevant service area, using the most appropriate BA tools and techniques
Identify the future vision of the Business areas to identify the desired end state and opportunities for improvement and Transformation
Work collaboratively alongside Business SME’s to understand, capture, and write requirements and user stories, analyses business areas, and to define to-be business processes (Level 4 standard) which enable improved ways of working, efficiency and transformation
Ability to gain a firm understanding of the organisation and the underpinning service areas, and cross functional links
Work transparently with a huge emphasis on customer focus
Organise, prepare for and deliver workshops with senior stakeholders across different departments including Heads of Service, process owners and SME's from the relevant business areas
Deliver business analysis activities in line with the standard Business Analysis methodology and templates. Plan the end-to-end activities required with forecast completion dates to achieve the expected deliverables. Take ownership of activities to produce outputs to the required standard and by the required timescales
Demonstrate positive and proactive behaviours, keeping the Project Manager and Business Analyst team manager informed of progress and communicating anticipated risks and issues impacting delivery in a timely manner
Attend workshops and playbacks held by A2D's third party supplier to understand the proposed standard solution and aligning business processes to the standard solution where possible. Review requirements and user stories and determine gaps in the solution
Lead on presenting and securing business Validation/ approval of final to-be deliverables (L4 process maps, personas etc.) by the relevant process owner(s) and Head(s) of Service
In line with the Business Analysis methodology, lead on playback and handover of deliverables to dependent teams (Security, Data, Change, Testing, Training). As part of this clearly outline areas of process change, new ways of working, and any change in personas
Support BAU change activities and assessment of Change Requests as and when required from a business analysis perspective.

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
Professional Business Analysis qualification
Experience of industry standard Business Analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering and traceability, Business process mapping (L4), user stories and personas
Proven experience of delivery within large projects in corporate environments that include people/ organisational, process and technology changes
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrable experience of working confidently with senior stakeholders
Proven experience in eliciting requirements, translating these into coherent processes and identifying areas of improvement, change or transformation
Experience of quantitative analysis and using standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint & Visio)
