To support this work, we are looking for 2 x Management Reporting Analysts on a full-time basis to join a team with responsibility for our financial data, management reporting and analytics. The primary aim of the position is to provide useful and accessible financial data for our business stakeholders across both our core operations and our projects reliably and efficiently.
This role could be based at any of our museum sites in London, Manchester, Bradford or York.
About the role
As Management Reporting Analyst, part of your role will be to work on initiatives that will make a difference to the business. Some of the priority areas for improvement are around accessibility of financial information, development of predictive forecasting and utilisation of other datasets, e.g. on visitors, retail activities and workforce. You will be focussing on key management reporting, working with data in our finance system and understanding what data is available in other SMG systems, as well as identifying, prioritising and working on change and improvement projects.
About you
Joining us, you will bring experience of using financial data to prepare reporting products for boards or committees, with an ability to understand, check and assess financial information when presented. You will also have an interest in and understanding of how to use technology to improve processes, and may bring experience around this from working on projects such as a systems implementation. Having worked on improvement projects previously, you will bring effective communication and stakeholder relationship skills with an ability to influence and make an impact.
