Description
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Environmental Health Officer (LBS-008) to join our project team. This role is critical as we aim to enhance public health and safeguard the environment in our community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assessment, monitoring, and enforcement of environmental health standards and regulations. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including local governments, businesses, and community organizations to promote healthy environments and sustainable practices. As an Environmental Health Officer, you will conduct site inspections, gather data, and analyze environmental health risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. This project-driven role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as you will be tasked with developing initiatives and programs that address public health concerns and environmental hazards. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will be presenting findings to diverse audiences and educating the public on environmental health issues. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive environmental health assessments and inspections.
Monitor compliance with health regulations and standards.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on inspection findings.

Develop and implement environmental health education programs for the public.
Investigate complaints and incidents related to environmental health issues.
Analyze data to identify trends and inform policy decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental health or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of health regulations, policies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Experience in conducting inspections and assessments in various environments.
Proficiency in data analysis software and reporting tools.

Pay Per Hour : £23.28
