Title: Assembly Operative / Electrical Assembler The Best Connection are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable assembly line operator to join a busy workshop team. Operators are responsible for assembling lighting fixtures and components according to company specifications, ensuring that each product meets quality standards. This is a hands-on role, ideal for individuals with experience in manufacturing or assembly line environments who thrive in fast-paced settings.
Location: BB11 5ST
Pay: £12.21PH (Temp to Perm role following a successful trial period)
Key Responsibilities: Assemble lighting products, including wiring components according to the production schedule and assembly instructions. Inspect products for defects and ensure each unit meets the required quality standards. Ensure completed products are packaged appropriately for shipment or storage. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment. Complete necessary production reports, including quantities produced, materials used, and any quality issues encountered. Work closely with other assembly line operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to meet production goals. Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly line role is preferred, particularly in electronics or lighting product assembly. Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. High level of accuracy in assembly and quality control processes. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based production setting. Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor assembly and equipment issues. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrical assembly or soldering. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles. To Apply:
