Manufacturing Production Operative
Location: Nelson
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
- Friday: 07:30 - 11:30
- 30-minute unpaid lunch + two 10-minute paid breaks
Are you experienced in manufacturing and production? Do you have a strong work ethic and the ability to handle potentially heavy materials? We're looking for a Production Operative to join a busy Department within a windows and doors manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling and hanging glass safely and efficiently
- Working with heavy materials in a fast-paced production setting
- Supporting the glazing and assembly of windows and doors
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Experience in glazing, hanging or working with glass is highly desirable
- Early finish on Fridays
- Potential for a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
