TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary schools who is currently looking for a 1-1 SEND Learning Support Assistant, who is looking for a Temporary to Permanent contract working with a student who has complex behavioural needs. You will be working with a warm and positive team in Norris Green, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach to learning.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience working within SEND environments,
• Knowledge of behavioural de-escalation and complex behavioural needs,
• Child enhanced DBS (registered on the update service),
• ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in,
• Adaptability.
