**The Role:**

We are seeking an experienced and driven **Paint Shop Manager** to lead and manage all operations within a busy paint department. Youll be responsible for scheduling workflow, maintaining high quality standards, ensuring health & safety compliance, and leading a team to meet production targets efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
----------------------------------------------------
* Oversee daily operations and workflow within the paint department.
* Manage and monitor team performance, drive KPI achievement.
* Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety.
* Provide hands-on support in paint spraying when required.
* Deliver continuous improvement initiatives and cost control.
* Conduct staff training, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes.
* Liaise with management and departments to meet customer expectations.
**Experience Required:**
----------------------------------------------------
* 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role within a busy workshop.
* Proven experience in **paint spraying and powder coating** .
* Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
* Proficient in MS Office and performance monitoring via KPIs.
**Desirable:**
----------------------------------------------------
* NVQ/SVQ Level 2/3 in paint spraying or shop management.
* Apprenticeship in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Awareness of relevant industry regulations.
