What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint two experienced and fully qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team who are qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3.
The successful candidates will be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of our nursery, which operates from 7am - 6pm.
We are looking for child focused staff who enjoy playing and supporting children to explore and develop their understanding of the world around them.
What the school offers its staff
The school and Nursery can offer you:
A forward thinking, dynamic atmosphere where lifelong learning has high priority. A happy environment with real team work. New and innovative ways of working including online observations and communications with parents through Class Dojo and parent hub. Every opportunity to develop your skills. An innovative EYFS curriculum where creativity and personalised learning are core elements
We offer:
Local Government Pension Scheme membership.
A staff benefit scheme providing discounts on everything from food shopping to insurances and holidays, as well as 24/7 access to health care professionals and online wellbeing advice.
Our values driven approach and the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative and friendly environment.
Visits to the Children's Centre are welcomed and can be arranged by contacting Sue Hills via email sue.hills@lihtrust.uk or by contacting a member of the team on 01702 474684.
You can find out more about our Trust and our schools at www.lihtrust.uk
Commitment to safeguarding
LIHT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We follow safer recruitment practice and the successful applicant will need a satisfactory enhanced DBS certificate and supportive references. We foster a culture of inclusivity that celebrates differences, promotes understanding, and ensures that no one is discriminated against in any way. By embracing diversity, we believe we can tap into the unique perspectives and talents of our employees, creating a more innovative and creative workforce that can better meet the needs of our pupils.
